The Japanese Char is a char species found in the Kerikil River. It is also known as the Whitespotted Char. It is easily mistaken for the similar, but rarer, Japanese Salmon. It is rather small, but it can still be caught with an medium rod. This fish is a japanese trout that can grow form 1 to 2 feet in real life.

This fish is not common, but not rare. It has been caught in the Kerikil Calm, but is most common in the Kerikil Rapids. To catch this fish, use medium rod/reel setup with Quick Hitter (Regular). Commonly this will not be the first type of fish that you catch in the Rapids.
