The Redtail Catfish, known locally as Cajaro or Pirarara, is a tropical fish found at Panas Jungle. It is a catfish with long white whiskers, its tapered body is black at the upside and white at its undersides. It does has a red tail just its name suggest.

Techniques[]
This fish is pretty uncommon in general. Despite this, it likes to hit the bait first if it is close enough to your line. However, more common fish such as Apapa and regular Alligator Gar may steal the bait if it comes too late.
Any L-sized tackle is enough to catch this fish.

- The Redtail Catfish are the sole surviving species of the genus. Their fossil relatives are dating back to the Upper Miocene.
- Despite their eventual size, juvenile catfish are often sold as aquarium fish. They also a popular fish for Amazon-themed public aquaria together with the Pacu and other large tropical catfish.
- The natives refuse to eat this fish because of its black flesh.
- They are very voracious to the extend that they often dying from overfeeding themselves. Weekly feeding is the best way to avoid this problem.
- In Thailand, they are regarded as an invasive species.
