The King Salmon (also known as the Chinook salmon) is the largest salmon in the game. It's relatively rare and is the largest species that inhabits the Gunan Es River. It can be easily distinguished from the other fish in the area and is most often seen roaming the edge between the shallow and deeper sections of the river. This fish is most easily caught when visible, as blind casts will likely catch the much more abundant Northern Pike. Its not uncommon to only see this fish 1-2 times per day-trip.
